Students graduating from high school today have difficult decisions to make.  They have an overwhelming number of options to choose from - thousands of programs and pathways including university, college and apprenticeship programs.

High Point Educational Counselling was created to help students and young adults who are having difficulty choosing their next step; for those that aren't quite sure what their options are and for those that may have taken the wrong step and would like to make a change.

The focus is on the individual; including their strengths, their interests and their obstacles.

I have spent more than 20 years working in the secondary school system and more than a decade working full time in the guidance department, including having the Department Head of Guidance role. I earned a combined degree in psychology and sociology with two specialists in Guidance and Career Education and Special Education. I have spent countless hours working with students and assisting with post secondary decisions. I would love the opportunity to meet with you and spend time answering your questions, analyzing your assessment reports and perhaps introducing you to future options that you may not have considered yet.  I look forward to talking to you soon.
